Senior Software Engineer on Cloud Integration (Windows Azure)
Engineer Skillset:
§ At least 2 years’ experience on software development
§ Problem Solving/ Trouble shooting Skills
§ In-depth Debugging Skills (Managed/Native)
§ C# /Node.js / JavaScript
§ ASP. Net/MVC / WCF and IIS background would be preferred for C# background
§ DB programming experience, like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL

Job Description:
As a Support Engineer in CIE (Cloud Integration Engineering), you will work directly with developer customers who range from small software developers to Fortune 100 corporations on windows azure platform. You will be a member of a team that solves the most challenging Windows Azure programming problems.
You will work with other engineers, including azure experts from Microsoft, to debug, troubleshoot, write code, and create solutions; at the meantime, you will gain lots of knowledge on windows azure architecture by training or practices. You will document solutions and work with product groups to improve technical support experience.
Job Responsibilities:
§ Communicate technically complex information with Windows Azure developer customers via telephone, written correspondence, and electronic services.
§ Analyze customers’ programming problems and develop solutions to meet their needs. This will involve debugging, troubleshooting, writing code, and taking responsibility to see that the issue is fully resolved.
§ Continually learn technologies and develop deep expertise in Microsoft products. Apply that knowledge to real-world programming problems.
§ Create advanced technical content including Microsoft Knowledge Base articles, samples, whitepapers, and training.
§ Identify and report both software bugs and customer suggestions.
§ Participate in regular technical triage meetings to share knowledge with other engineers and help them develop efficient solutions to their customers.
§ This position MAY requires night shift or weekend to support 24x7 365 all day availability for customer issues. (Still 40 work hours per week)
