The manufacturing engineer (Mechanical) develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products. Manufacturing engineer (Mechanical) will focus on the electrical portion of HDGE’s Aero-derivative Gas Turbine Package manufacturing.   Essential Functions (Responsibilities): ·         Define, develop, and deploy manufacturing process improvements for mechanical assemblies and systems such as fabrications, enclosures, fluid systems, piping/tubing, shaft alignment etc. ·         Provide timely solution/root cause analysis of manufacturing process problems to maintain smooth flow of production. ·         Develop/maintain the manufacturing BOM and routine in ERP system. Work closely with design team to optimize the drawings and BOMs. ·         Compile work instructions and perform training to operators. Ensure the manufacturing to follow related workmanship standards. ·         Designs, develops and tests and/or sources various tools, machinery and fixture for recommended manufacturing methods. ·         Drive EHS, Production, cost reduction and Quality initiatives with hourly workforce to meet/exceed customer requirement. ·         Provide technical interface between customer, Sourcing and in shop labor ·         Support the company culture based on HDGE value of Integrity, EHS compliance, Quality, Performance, and Accountability.   Qualifications/Requirements: ·         Bachelor’s degree of  Engineering(Mechanical Engineering Preferred) ·         Minimum three years of manufacturing engineering experience ·         Good knowledge on mechanical assemblies and systems such as fluid systems, welding, alignment, piping/tubing etc. ·         Strong problem solving skill; result- oriented; innovative; self-motivated; have teamwork spirit ·         Proven interpersonal skills / Strong Communication Skills ·         English Speaking, Reading, Writing capabilities ·         A proven fast leaner, be proactive and passion to technology. ·         Be familiar with Microsoft office, Auto CAD software   Desired: ·         Oracle ERP experiences ·         Lean manufacturing experience ·         Knowledge of Gas turbine package ·         UG experience
