Position: Engineering Supervisor

Report to: Engineering Manager

Location: Guangzhou plant

Position Summary

Responsible for maintenance and management of production equipments and public facilities. Ensure the related facilities and equipments in the factory to be in an operational condition, in compliance with GMP and HSE requirement.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main responsibilities would include ：

• Develop and implement the routine and regular maintenance plans of equipments and facilities by year/month/week base on the actual condition of all equipments and facilities to ensure they can be maintained in time.
• Suggest annual budget based on the maintenance plan to ensure the budget is in a reasonable scope.
• Efficient and productive management of energy and engineering resources.
  • Develop and implement energy conservation measures
  • Evaluate machine performance for continuous improvement
  • Ensure repairs and maintenance costs well within budget
• Responsible updating and optimizing the documents system of equipments and facilities to provide the standard guidance to maintenance, operation and replacement.
  • Organize and monitor for updating the equipments files, operation record s and maintenance records in order to provide the standard to eliminate the failure or replace the equipments.
  • Optimize the maintenance and operation SOP documents to ensure the practicability of SOP documents and the standardization of all maintaining and operating activities.
• Supervise, coordinate and contact the exterior contractors for repairing and maintaining the equipments and facilities to ensure their services meet our requirements. Responsible for the quality controlling of exterior contractors' services to ensure the exterior contractors' services complies with the expectation.
• Be responsible for spare parts management.

Qualification Requirements （ Knowledge, Ability and Skill ）

• Bachelor degree or above major in mechanics.
• At least 5-year experiences in pharmaceutical plant or food plant, responsible for maintenance of equipment.
• Professional knowledge of management and repair of production, water, air condition equipments, etc.
• Be familiar with GMP and organize the inspection and maintenance according to the requirement of GMP.
• The ability of independent analysis, judgment and problem solving is a must.
• Be initiative and have strong ability of speedy learning.
• Reading and translation ability of professional English materials.
• Proficiency in using computer （ Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD/Microstation ）
