Open Vacancy for an IT Project Manager

 

 

The Infrastructure Project Management Team (included in the UPM IT organisation) is responsible for providing project management and coordination services for IT infrastructure related projects. Also, coordinating and supporting organisational change related to such projects is part of the team's responsibility.

 

We are seeking an IT Project Manager, who will be responsible for coordinating and managing IT infrastructure related projects. 

 

The key tasks of the IT Project Manager are:

- support UPM business and IT with well delivered projects

- manage small and medium size IT infrastructure projects

- coordinate infrastructure related activities in medium-size and large business projects

 

Professional and personal competencies required:

- Experience and proven skills in Project Management

- Knowledge of Project Management methodology

- Proven skills of working in global environment

- Fluent written and spoken English required, other languages are an advantage

- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and application management

- Capabilities to be a real leader of projects

- Good communicating, coordinating and organising skills

- Problem solving and networking skills

- Initiative and flexibility

- Ability to work both independently and in teams

- Ability to deliver within specifications, time and budget

- Ability to handle challenges with external vendors  

- Customer service orientation and global mind-set

- Readiness for domestic and international travelling

- Bachelor degree or equivalent (Master of Science degree is preferred)
