Position Title: Embedded System – Hardware Engineer
Location: Pudong, Shanghai
Reporting to: Electrical Segment Manager

Position Specification:
Otis Engineering Center – Shanghai is one of several Global Engineering Centers around the world. The Embedded System – Hardware Engineer position will be responsible for electrical design and development of elevators components.

Basic Accountabilities:
As an embedded hardware engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Design elevator controller PCBs, fixtures (communication PCB), etc, including schematic and layout, component selection, wiring diagram, and testing.
Responsible for the quality, cost and delivery of the board design.
Support electrical program manager through the life-cycle of product development process in Otis
Create detailed requirement documentation, test plan and user manual if needed.
Conduct tests through internal and external labs and generate reports.
General electrical engineering support related to electrical components.

Minimum Requirement:
Master in Electrical Engineering with more than 2 years electrical design experience in technology side or Bachelor with more than 4 years working experience. Working experience in MNCs is a plus.
Familiar with Candence, digital and analog circuit design.
Familiar with Firmware design and P-slice simulation
Familiar with general PCB development process
Team-work spirit and self-motivation
Fluent in both English and Mandarin

Preferred Requirements:
Deep technical knowledge and proven expertise in the development of embedded electronic components. Knowledge of elevator electrical components and/or drive electronics is desired.  Experience with development tools such as Cadence ConceptDHL and CIM-Team E3.Series preferred.
Good knowledge on DOE, FMEA, CPM
