Position Title： Machine (PM motor) Engineer / Senior Engineer

Location：Pudong, Shanghai

Reporting to：Machine Segment Manager

Position Specification：

Otis Engineering Center – Shanghai is one of several Global Engineering Centers around the world.  The position requires a dynamic and willingness person in the development of elevator related PM machine (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine). 

Basic Accountabilities:

As a PM motor engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

PM motor electro-magnetic design and / or PM motor mechanical parts stress analysis and design

Motor modeling and related performance calculation based on drive power supply

Product related documentation and drawings preparation

Support PIC for quality improving and cost reduction

Performance other duties as assigned and requested

Principle Working Relations:

Engineering and Supply Management teams, Worldwide Otis Engineering partners, Manufacturing , Field, Suppliers,

Qualification Requirement:

Education: Master or above in Electrical Machine, Mechanical, or equivalent

Experience: 1-3 years experience or related work on motor and machine design

Language: Good in spoken and written English,  CET-6 preferred

Computer Skills: experienced on Pro-E, AutoCAD, Microsoft OFFICE, ANSYS etc
