Responsibilities
-Analyzing vulnerability and exploit code
-Confirming attack vector, generating and capturing exploit traffic
-Writing and testing IPS signatures
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
-In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols
-Familiar with major application protocols: HTTP, SMB, FTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, etc
-Strong working knowledge of Windows, Linux or UNIX
-Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
-Able to understand and analyze a packet trace
-Proficient in C and Perl (knowledge of PHP, Python, and Assembly language a plus)
