Responsibilities:
- Study the mechanical aspects of the drawings and the Process Manual to understand the type of machine that has to be assembled.
- Identify the list of mechanical items provided that would be necessary for the assembly of the machine.
- Study and understand specific information relating to the mechanical aspects of the particular machine to be assembled.
- Piecing together the various mechanical parts of the machine in accordance with the drawings, process manual and specific instructions during the assembly of the machines
- Ensure that each part is correct and according to specifications, if not, to discuss with Leader and Quality Technician and send it for machining if the fault is minor and can be corrected by machining
- Coordinates with Tool Room on necessary tools for the assembly
- Where parts are missing, notify Production Manager. In the absence of superiors, to exchange parts with other similar machines.
- prepares a Control Sheet and signs it for identification purposes and to ensure maintenance of quality
- read the drawings and decide on the part to be assembled and how it is to be assembled
- decide on the type of bolts, nuts and screws to be used based on the desired strength Where parts are missing, notify Production Manager. In the absence of superiors, to exchange parts with other similar machines and communicate to Kitting
- Assist and execute in the testing of machines and participate in FAT
- Diagnose mechanical problems, establish solutions and execute updates in accordance with Engineering and Methods
- Additional Leadership Role:
- Attends management meetings and briefings
- Conveys management policy decisions to other technicians in the group.
- Conveys technicians’ requests to management.

Education :
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
Experience :
At least 5 years working experience in Machinery manufactory industry and manufacturing environment
Competences / Specific knowledge :
Knowledge of the mechanical, piping and painting aspects of the assembly
Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
Able to understand management policies and requirements
English communication skill
