Alcatel-Lucent Beijing R&D center is one of key R&D centers of global Alcatel-Lucent R&D system.

Now, in the challenging context of W-CDMA wireless projects, Beijing R&D center is looking for software engineers to develop/test the W-CDMA OAM system. This OAM product is the supervision component of the overall W-CDMA network and is based on a software distributed architecture with several machines.

The candidate will join a dynamic team, will work into an international context and will strongly interact with other world wide Alcatel-Lucent R&D centers.

Currently, the R&D team is seeking for s/w enginner for the following positions:

- W-CDMA OAM S/W Development Engineer
- W-CDMA OAM S/W Verification Engineer
- W-CDMA OAM S/W GPS Engineer

The details requirements for each position are:

W-CDMA OAM S/W Development Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is the least, major in computer science, telecommunication is preferred. Master degree is preferred. 1-2 years' related working experience at the minimum
• Strong C++/Java or TCL/Shell script programming skills & experience. Profound OOAD experience is required. Experience in CORBA programming is preferred
• Experience of Unix/Linux development is preferred
• Familiar with s/w development quality processes
• Knowledge of a source management tool (Clearcase, CVS).
• Knowledge into telecommunication network is preferred, especially in the domain of W-CDMA network
• Fluent in English reading and writing, mid-level English communication skills. CET-6 is preferred
• Self-motivated and autonomous in the work
• Good team work spirit and willing to contribute to the team’s success
• Experience in the telecom industry or s/w development company is desirable. Working experience in international companies is preferred

W-CDMA OAM S/W Verification Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is the least, major in computer science, telecommunication is preferred. Master degree is preferred. Two years in SW development or verification in W-CDMA and/or OAM system is required.
• 1 year experience of Unix/Shell programming is required
• General level knowledge of telecom networks is preferred
• Good technical interest, ability to understand complex technical issues, investigation methodology
• Good technical background is preferred: XML, Java, Object oriented DB/Versant, distributed architecture CORBA, TCP-IP, Solaris, Oracle
• Good knowledge on telecom Security / GUI (Graphic User Interface) is preferred
• Fluent in English reading and writing, mid-level English communication skills. CET-6 is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, team work
• Self-motivated and autonomous in the work
• Good team work spirit and willing to contribute to the team’s success
• Experience in the telecom industry or s/w development company is desirable. Working experience in international companies is preferred

W-CDMA OAM S/W GPS (Level 3) Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is the least, major in computer science, telecommunication is preferred. Master degree is preferred. More than two years related experience is required
• Strong problem analysis ability and initiative is required
• Customer orientation experience and ability is required
• Good knowledge of telecom networks is required, especially on W-CDMA network. Experience on OAM produce verification is preferred
• Good technical background is preferred: XML, Java, Object oriented DB/Versant, distributed architecture CORBA, TCP-IP, Solaris, Oracle
• Knowledge on SUN products would be appreciated
• Fluent in English reading and writing, mid-level English communication skills. CET-6 is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills, communication, team work
• Self-motivated and autonomous in the work
• Good team work spirit and willing to contribute to the team’s success
