PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
• Propose cost-effective IT solutions to improve system efficiency & effectiveness
• Professionally gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional system design specifications
• Manage project in order to meet the scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements (including the management of 3rd-party vendors)

Specific functions include but are not limited to:

• Provide management and leadership for assigned set of related application systems
• Work with IT support organizations to ensure application technical quality, reliability, maintainability, performance and cost effectiveness.
• Provide business justification for software upgrades, enhancements, new systems.
• Work with business leaders as partners in identifying and managing the use of information technology to enhance business activities

SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

• Good Business Process Understanding.
• Distributed application and database concepts (Oracle experience is preferred)
• Information Technology Excellence (architect, design or coding experience, knowledge of IT standards, policies and procedures).
• Project management skill is preferred
• Team building, Diversity and Global Orientation.
• Ability to communicate well, both written and verbal, with individuals at all levels of the company, in a technical and non-technical manner.
• Cross cultural experience with a multinational company is highly desirable.
• Must be fluent in Mandarin and English
