This highly motivated individual will be part of the WEB Development / CRM team working on our enterprise portal applications. The successful candidate will bring business process knowledge as well as project lead expertise to the Global Web Solutions team in the China. This position will require you to help execute business process analysis, develop process re-engineering and/or IT solutions, develop formal business cases and project plans with business-side project sponsors, establish and drive solution development teams, oversee system design and implementation, establish project KPIs / Metrics to quantify "actual" post-install business benefits and report status to business and IT executive sponsors. The person should be versed with web technologies and best practice and should be able to provide input into the corporate web strategy. Qualified individuals will posses advance Java skill including J2EE standard technologies including Java, J2EE, JSP, Apache Struts, AJAX, Web Services, SOA, Servlets and should have experience with application Server’s such as (Jboss 3, Websphere Weblogic etc) and experience working with Databases like DB2 and Oracle. Experience in programming the front end applications using Struts/JSP/XSLT/Web Application Security/Servlets 2.4/ UI J2EE patterns is highly desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-Lead Java devloper / Business analyst.
-Planning, designing, developing, evaluating and implementing Java applications.
-Gathering and communicating design, creating function requirements for the development team.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields.
-5+ years experience in the High Tech industry.
-The person should be versed with web technologies.
-Expertise in technologies like Java / Java, J2EE, JSP with experience with different application servers.
-Working knowledge with Databases like DB2 and Oracle.
-Strong leadership, Strong verbal and written communication and formal presentation skills ( English ).
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Power Point, Excel Spreadsheets, Visio.
-Experience with Vignette Portal products a plus.
-Knowledge of sales related business processes like rebates / pricing etc. a plus.
