Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, Inc., a Silicon Valley, USA based company, is seeking talented IT professionals to join our China Global IT team. Based in Shenzhen, China you will be an integral part of the worldwide IT organization and participate in global IT projects supporting business operations worldwide. You will work in a global solution delivery environment, and learn and apply the best practice project management methodologies and cutting-edge IT technologies and tools. Some positions will have training opportunities in the US, and you will be given more global responsibilities as you grow.

This position supports the Hitachi GST Enterprise Information Warehouse (EIW), which includes Business Information System (BIS) and SAP Datawarehouse (SAPDW). EIW is multi-faceted collection of IT solutions including Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Master Data Management and an Application layer supporting internal business processes in Finance, Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain and others. EIW uses Hyperion (Oracle) Essbase and Brio, IBM DB2, DB2 Warehouse Manager and Alphablox, Websphere and Java running on IBM pSeries (AIX) servers. EIW has a large world-wide user population with a multi-national technical support team that is undergoing a major restructuring.The new EIW technical support team will be headquartered in Silicon Valley in the US with support teams in China and a 3rd contract location, to be determined.The EIW Database Adminsitrator (DBA) will support the environment described above.
Qualifications:
-DB2 Administration
-ETL (DB2 DW Mgr Admin and/or Informatica Admin)
-UNIX scripting,
-Strong English language skills.
-Must work well in a Global team environment.
-Must be results driven.
-UNIX administration
-Essbase Application and/or Administration experience
-Minimum Bachelor Degree in IT related major.
-Minimum 3 yrs experience as DB2 DBA
-DB2 Admin certification preferred.
