DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:

To build, manage, and grow software teams and capabilities in Shanghai. Software capabilities include 1. Application; 2. Testing/QA; and 3. Development. They are listed below:

Application

         Porting hosted GPS software to different platforms such as Linux, eCOS, Nucleus, and WinCE;

         Developing integrated GPS system hardware and software solutions based on existing GPS technology to support customers;

        Developing integrated software combining Bluetooth, GPS, and/or WiFi to support combo chips;

         Supporting customer-specific development using SDK (software development kit) and SPK (software porting kit)

Testing/QA

         Building and expanding systematic software testing and QA capacity and capability;

        Implementing and improving company testing and QA process;

        Building road testing and user scenario-specific testing capabilities

Development

         Supporting software development of core GPS software including navigation and measurement in both hosted and embedded environments;

        Software coding support of AGPS, extended ephemeris, dead reckoning, etc.

 

QUALIFICATION (DETAIL):

Education:

       Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering;

Experience:

         Minimum 8 years of working experience

        Understanding of embedded system and at least 3 years of experience in embedded software design;

         Project or personnel management experience of at least 1 year;
        Strong verbal and written English communication skills
