Position Title: Software Development Manager (Real-time)

Position Summary:
GDNT is looking for experienced Software Development Managers to manage development teams working on Nortel’s suite of Wireline and Wireless products.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have people, project and technical management responsibilities for the development and support of Nortel products and services. Some of the responsibilities include:
Working closely with Nortel Product Managers and Project Leaders to establish and execute development programs for the delivery of Nortel’s global products and services. Project management of assigned activities including status monitoring and reporting, task assignment, risk management, issue resolution and budget adherence. On-time delivery with high quality and adherence to corporate processes and procedures. Leadership and management of teams of up to 15 technical staff including hiring, performance management, career development and coaching. Provide technical leadership through participation in project and technical reviews and provide technical input and guidance to employees. Ensuring high quality delivery in adherence to industry standard quality systems (ISO, TL9000, CMMI) Qualifications / Experience Required:
o Bachelors/Undergraduate degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
o 5 years of experience working in telecommunications or related industries.
o Minimum 2 years experience leading/managing technical organizations.
o Strong written and oral communications in English and Mandarin.
o Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment across multiple time zones.
o Demonstrated technical leadership skills and knowledge in Real-time embedded Software Development (Linux, VxWorks)
o Exposure to CDMA, GSM and Wimax product development.
o Good understanding of Software Development environments (compilers, linkers debuggers, ICE, BDM/JTAG)
o Experience with structured software and hardware design processes and lifecycle management. 联系方式：
