职位描述/要求:

Business Unit Description:
Nortel Wireless Mesh Network (WMN) solution is recognized as the industry leader in overall revenue and market share. GDNT WMN team has taken the product development ownership for 2 years and wined good reputation with being motivated and committed to make WMN a success.
Key Responsibilities:
o To define the RF system architecture, evolution and implementation from the solution and E2E system’s perspective, includes engaging of IEEE 802.11, 802.16 and other well-known wireless technologies.
o To come up with the RF related system engineering guidelines for Nortel WMN solution, providing field engineering recommendations to the global WMN business team.
o To analyze the RF related impact and inter-actions to customer’s WMN deployment, from the stability, robustness and performance’s perspective.
Qualifications / Experience Required:
o Master degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors with more than two years of related experience in a team based product development environment.
o CET-6 or equivalent certification holder with fluent spoken English is preferred, strong written and oral communication skills.
o Familiar with the wireless communications technologies, such as
 Communication theory and digital baseband system, includes FDD/TDD duplex, multiple access (FDMA, CDMA, TDMA, CSMA and OFDMA), cellular communication system,
 Digital modulation and detection,
 Wireless standards, includes IEEE 802.11 and 802.16.
o Familiar with the microwave technologies, such as
 Channel characteristics and model simulation, includes propagation characteristics, multi-path fading and delay spread,
 Antenna knowledge and design, includes beamforming.
o Familiar with Transmitter and receiver design, such as
 MIMO technologies, such as space-time code and space multiplexing,
 OFDM synchronization and channel estimation,
 Modulation, up-conversation power amplification and output filters,
 Dual band and multi standards integration.
