Position Summary:

GDNT is looking for experienced Software Verification Managers to manage verification teams working on Nortel GSM/UTMS MSCS products

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have people, project and technical management responsibilities for the development and support of Nortel MSCS products. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Working closely with Nortel Product Managers and Project Leaders to establish the product verification strategy and the project plan.
• Lead a team of PV Engineers to create test plans, test cases and carry out the tests to ensure conformance for customer requirements and standards.
• Project management of assigned activities including status monitoring and reporting, task assignment, risk management, issue resolution and budget adherence.
• On-time delivery with high quality and adherence to corporate processes and procedures.
• Leadership and management of teams of up to 15 technical staff including hiring, performance management, career development and coaching.
• Provide technical leadership through participation in project and technical reviews and provide technical input and guidance to employees.
• Ensuring high quality delivery in adherence to industry standard quality systems (ISO, TL9000, CMMI)

Qualifications / Experience Required:

o        Bachelors/Undergraduate degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related majors.

o        6 years of experience working in telecommunications or related industries.

o        Minimum 2 years experience leading/managing technical organizations involved in the validation cycle of development

o        Knowledge of structured testing methodologies

o        Strong written and oral communications in English and Mandarin.

o        Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment across multiple time zones.

o        Exposure to  Wireline, GSM, CDMA,  WiMax  or other Telephony technologies

o        Experience with structured software design processes and lifecycle management.
