Job Responsibilities

1.        Examines possible areas for automation with potential for cost saving and quality improvement opportunities.

2.        Designs and develops appropriate equipments or mechanisms, and systems for such purpose.

3.        Ensure that all automatic equipments are in compliance with safety, health and environmental standards.             

4.        Plays a key role in design, development and installation of automatic equipment and systems and manages such projects for success.

5.        Source and identify suitable automation design and manufacturing suppliers in the region.

6.        Manages internal as well as external resources to achieve innovative automation projects of high standard.

7.        Manages machine maintenance in Auto machine/Packaging shop floor.

8.        Prepare budget plan for relevant projects & exercise proper control.

9.        Bring in applicable new technology to the company.

10.    Assists in the trouble shooting of all automatic equipments.

11.    Assists in the acquisition of related equipment.

12.    Participate in various cost / process improvement projects.

13.    Carry out other related duties.

Requirements:

1.        B.S. degree or equivalent in mechanical / electrical engineering. 

2.        Minimum 6 years experience in automatic machine design or development in which at least one year in a management position of significant responsibility。
