Responsibilities:

- Carry out the design process of electrical protection products from concept phase to production launch.
- Design electro-mechanical portions of electrical protection products in the major home appliance segment.
- Modify existing product designs to meet customer requirements and to improve performance, quality, and cost.
-Work with suppliers to understand their processes and capabilities, and how these affect our end products.
- Support other areas, such as quality and manufacturing, to ensure successful production of existing devices.
-Respond to internal and external customer concerns and requests in a timely manner. 
-Perform feasibility assessments and design verification using analytical and experimental methods.
-Maintain product documentation (drawings and specifications).  Prepare, test, and de-bug prototypes.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and 0 to 3 years industry experience
-Good communication skills, written and verbal (Mandarin) and functional capability in English
-Able to travel to USA and/or EU for extended periods of time (up to 3 months)
-Team player, able to work in multidisciplinary project teams
-Knowledge of MS-Office software (Word, Windows, Excel and Outlook).
-CAD (Solid Works) knowledge
-Capable of setting priorities.
-Results oriented and proactive attitude.
-0-3 years experience in major home appliance or refrigeration compressor industry
