1. IC Design Engineer

Job Description:
• Interface with System Architects (Concept Engineering) and IC Definition team,
Implementation (Layout) Team
• Write detailed design specification
• Define clock, reset and power concept
• Study and integrate external IPs
• VHDL or Verilog Coding
• Testbenches generation according to verification plan
• Functional verification of IC
• Set up regression-test suite
• Gate-level simulation
• Assist in test pattern generation (interface with IC Test Development Engineer)
• Static timing constraint definition
Requirements:
• Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or in related field
• Tool skills:
• General tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Acrobat, etc)
• PERL or SHELL languages
• Affirma or Modelsim
• Design Compiler
• PrimeTime
• Design for Test concepts
• Matlab and Cossap (SystemStudio) or SystemC knowledge is an advantage
• Ability to speak and write English is a must
• Self-motivated team player and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Experience in GPS
2. Staff Mixed Signal Test Engineer
Job Description:
• Test program development for complex mixed-signal SoCs and MCMs.
• Definition of test concept, work out test specification, generate test pattern (interface
with IC System Design engineers).
• Create test program and test hardware incl. evaluation, debugging, optimization and
production transfer.
• Define and realize test cost ratios and transfer of test package to other test platforms.
• Maintain test package during ramp-up and volume production.
• Cooperate with circuit designers, product engineering, and technology engineers
regarding test evaluation, analysis and debugging of first silicon and redesigns.
• Product failure analysis and debugging on test system.
• Team leader responsibility for group of 3-4 engineers
Requirements:
• Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or in related field with
minimum three years of experience.
• Digital and Analog test development experience will be an added advantage.
• Familiar/experience with Automated Test Equipments.
• Design experience(skills mentioned above)
• Tools skills:
• Experience with Teradyne and Verigy A93K Testers
• Competent in C/C++ programming
• Knowledge of DFT / DfM / DfA
• VHDL/Verilog knowledge is an advantage
• High and low level software programming
• Ability to speak and write good English is a must.
• Self-motivated team player and able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong leadership to lead and coach junior engineers

3. Product Engineer
Job Description:
• Product Engineering for Infineon's Automotive and Industrial microcontroller products
• Analysis and verification of early product silicon
• Functional failure analysis, support for product characterization and qualification, product
reliablity engineering
• Collection and evaluation of pre-production front end and back end test results and yield
• Act in a supporting role for and reporting to multiple microcontroller development projects run
in different locations in Asia and Europe
• Close cooperation with an international network of concept engineers, circuit designers,
verification engineers and test engineers
• Conceptual design and usage of hardware evaluation boards
• Development and implementation of microcontroller analysis methodologies
Job requirement:
• Ph.D/Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 2-3 years of working experience as product engineer or similar
• Knowledge:
- Microcontrollers, SoC architecture, embedded flash, typical
microcontroller components such as PLL, EVR, oscillators
- Circuit design, digital and analog technology
- Test engineering, design-for-test, design-for-analysis
- Semiconductor technology, physics of electronic circuits
• Technical skills:
- Electronic laboratory experience
- Usage of measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer,
function generators, soldering, bread board setup
- Microcontroller programming in C & assembler, compiler & debugger
usage
- Microsoft tools (Word, Power Point, EXCEL, Outlook)
- Adobe tools (Acrobat, Framemaker)
- additional programming skills (Perl, EXCEL, hardware description
languages, ...) is an advantage
- additional experience in circuit design, verification, layout is an
advantage
