Responsibility Description:
1. check parts according to packing list and gala list, and report if there are any discrepancies
2. inspect incoming warranty parts, make findings, and record and inform warranty processing team accordingly. Check parts according to gala list/ special requests, make discrepancy report if necessary. Check the situation of the parts, e.g. cleanliness, completeness of an assembly/ components. Check the attached documents, and define whether it is enough for making findings. Make visual check, dismantle parts if necessary, and use proper equipments to make findings
3. Liaise with Warranty teams of BBDC and MBCL on technical issues and if more information needed
4. formulate regular report and statistics, regarding frequency, discrepancy, positive/ negative findings, packing quality etc
5. scrape parts after the expiration of warranty claim and assist warranty processing team to scrape the non-gala parts of dealer side
6. assist vendor recovery by inspecting local parts and return to local suppliers if necessary
7. Liaise with other sections and teams in the same department and exchange knowledge
Job Qualification:
1. Education: Engineering Diploma/Certificate
2. Experience:Technical Service Executive/Engineer/Engineering Assistant-between 3 to 5 years experience
3. Know how: Service Engineering knowledge of : Internal Combustion Engines, Automotive Air Con, Automotive Engineering, Body, Interior and Exterior, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Basic Analog & Digital Electronics.
In-depth familiarity with Mercedes-Benz Warranty procedures and Regulations.
Communication skills in English writing and speaking.
