Responsibility:

·         Hardware engineers for a leading MNC to develop lamp ballasts/drivers

-             Design CFL/LFL/HID ballasts from concept to the launch to mass production

-             Qualify and improve sourced ballasts

-             Analyze test failures and validate corrective actions during design and qualification phases

-             Circuit modeling/analysis, PCB design, Component selection,

-             Testing (Functional, EMC, reliability etc.)

Requirements:

·             Master degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with one year plus power electronics design experience

·             Or Bachelor degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3 years plus experience in ballast design

·             Good understanding on power electronics circuit

·             Good verbal and written English.

·             Frequent user of common electrical measurement equipments

·             Able to prioritize complicated tasks to ensure program delivery

·             Energetic team player with good interpersonal skills.

·             Quick learner and keen problem solver.

·             Good understanding of PCB circuit design & manufacturing

·             Skilled in soft wares (like Protel 99, Orcard, power PCB, MATLAB, Pspice etc.,)

·             Exposure to international Electronics/product safety standards

Desired:

· Master or Ph.D. Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3 years plus experience
· Proficient in using Pspice/Matchcad to analyze power electronics circuit
· In-depth knowledge of product reliability and manufacturability
· Demonstrated success in designing power products and launching into mass production.
· Understanding of six sigma or other statistical process control
· Familiar with selection of electronics components based on design requirement and cost target.
· Have high potential to lead program team
