Job responsibility

• To promote business to all banks and branches in assigned area and achieve the yearly budget.
• To handle the RMB and foreign currency funding of SMBC China branches, both lending and borrowing,
• To handle all correspondent role between PRC banks in the assigned area and related parties of our banks, including credit   monitoring and event reporting.
• To support and co-work with GIBD Trade Finance Team, other regions, business departments, branches, Treasury Unit, to cross sell SMBC products which include derivative, syndication loan, asset repurchase, IPO, etc.
• To monitor the activities of all banks in China assigned area and feedback to the management and various departments of the bank.
• To help other departments and branches to solve any issue with PRC banks in the area when requested and to provide support for customer enquiry.

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above
• 3+ years working experience as RM of FI business
• Abundant knowledge of investment banking products, derivative products and custody products
• Sound knowledge of banking system, government’s policy and regulation of China
• Good command of both spoken and written English
