" Work as the BIOS developer and tester in BIOS team of China Design Center.
" Participates in requirement analysis of Intel Architecture products and systems, and provide the BIOS solution based on code base from BIOS vendors.
" Contribute to project estimation and planning.
" Conduct BIOS documentations (feasibility study report, design specification, test specification, test report etc.).
" Conduct BIOS design, coding, debugging, verification, test and release according to process.
" Conduct HW document and design review, peer review and support sustaining activities.
" Conduct study new technology in Intel Architecture and BIOS, and implementing it in  products.
" Contribute to software engineering process improvement.

 

Qualifications
" Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years of BIOS development or test experience is required.
" Basic understanding of software engineering process and software quality control is required.
" Solid working experience of Phoenix NuBIOS , ServerBIOS, FirstBIOS or TrustedCore, as well as C programming or Intel Assembly language is required and general knowledge of EFI is desired.
" Significant experience with initial debug and "bring-ups" of new Intel Architecture designs and the use of debugging tools such as American Arium ICE, oscilloscopes or logic analyzers is required.
" General knowledge of, or familiarity with, current technologies such as ACPI, APM, SMI, PNP, PCI, USB, SMBIOS, DMI, IPMI, multi-boot, MP, PXE, etc. is required.
" Basic understanding of device drivers is required and basic understanding of circuitry and logic design is desired.
" Experience in software configuration and release management tools (like ClearCase) and defect tracking tools (like Clear Quest) is desired.
" Strong English written and verbal communications skills are required.
" Self-motivate, accountable, innovative.
