A qualified candidate should have theoretical and practical understanding of technology and methodology in designing software solutions and be able to:
Work with domestic/oversea counterparts to code, test, troubleshoot, document and maintain projects;
Requirement analysis s. Common requirement gathering; Design Java applications with requirements; Apply current technologies and applicable emerging technologies to assigned duties; Coordinate with other offshore or onsite team members and deliver high quality production on time. Case handling - provide support on ticket/case handling that are raised from customer or other Support team for assistance on data content, performance or availability issues; Documentation - providing Support documentation on processes and procedures for maintaining system test and production environments .Document solutions and track communications as required and defined within support processes. Provide tech consultant and bug fixing services to Support team if required. Job Requirement:
Bachelor's (undergraduate) or Master's (graduate) degree in a technical/scientific discipline or engineering diploma or other degree/diploma with major in IT At least 3 years industry working experience with Java application development Good understanding of J2ee architecture: EJB (Session, Entity, Message, CMP, BMP), JDBC, JNDI, JMS. Experienced in Java Enterprise/Web Application Development Experienced in J2EE application server, eg Weblogic Good at XML Concepts and related development skills. Deep understanding of OO, classical design patterns Familiar with: typical J2EE Design Patterns, System designing (Rational Rose, UML), SQL. Weblogic workshop, Web Services, WSDL, UDDI, SOAP. Strong communications and interpersonal skills. Experience in leading projects and team is a plus Good understanding of CMM processes is a plus Knowledge in data warehouse is a plus Experienced in the following tools or skills: Oracle database and PL/SQL Team-working attitude with strong desire to learn and excel. Fluent English is a must. Good English communication skills, with the ability to present resolution to foreign customers in a clear and comprehensible way. Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment. Can adapt to overlap works due to time difference. Exceptional interpersonal and team skills, Excellent Customer Service Focus (focus on customer as the top priority, keep abreast of customer needs and priorities, and provide value to the customer).
