Responsibility
- Responsible for design, development, and sustaining of embedded software services for telecommunications equipment integrating SONET/SDH, DCS, Ethernet, and MPLS technologies; specifically, responsible for driver of SDH/SONET device - Mapper, Framer, Cross-connect chip set.
- Produce high quality high-level and low-level design of new features.
- Execute unit test of software features, including design and implementation of unit test drivers.
- Maintain and sustain existing code.
- Participate in execution of cross-functional feature tests.
- Provide accurate schedule estimates for planned tasks.
- Participates in OS library creation, use and debug

Requirement:
- Strong embedded, C/C++ and network management experience  
- RTOS familiarity - VxWorks, OSE, such as Semaphore and task management.  
- Knowledge at the SONET/SDH transport device technology  
- Knowledge of the TCP/IP & ATM, OSI protocols
- Excellent communication and team work.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Work experience
- At least 4 years' development experiences of Telcomm/Data Communication products
- Working experience in some leading telecom company is desired
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Software Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Computer Science) or equivalent
