 The Job

 ·        Work directly with the business and technical users to ensure the successful

implementation, upgrade and use of the company banking solutions. Projects range from small-scale developments to large-scale implementations and version upgrades

·        Support the sales team in analyzing/determining business needs, drivers for change and  

the specific solutions that fit with client’s requirements

·        Utilize technical expertise in direct support of the professional services consultants,  

project managers, help desk support and sales team through technical consulting, complex solutions design and assisting with technical sales presentations to customers on all banking and financial solutions

·        Be instrumental in the entire deal construction process by determining the type of  

departmental/business support that would ensure an effective Value Proposition.

·        Ensure that the Sales team responds effectively to RFPs by having a detailed a detailed  

technical knowledge of functionality, technology and data aspects of the product range.       

·        Ensure top-notch demonstration capability specific to a bid by leading the system   

analysis/design, updating presentation/demonstration materials and ensuring that the

banking solution’s USP and Value proposition are fully reflected in the demonstration.

·        Lead the process of systems design and configuration, implementation and planning the  

UAT strategy with the client, as well as, the deployment of systems

·        Design and deliver various technical training courses to clients, including not only the   

company’s own solutions but also other related functions such as Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity, etc.

·        Advise client on housekeeping tasks that allow the client to maintain and improve    

system performance.

·        Provide information, advice, guidance, training and updates to management and other  

consultants throughout the project lifecycle in order to improve future project

implementations

·        Independently prepare and present technology solutions tied to business issues to a wide

range of technical and non-technical audience

Key Requirements

l            BS,MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other relevant disciplines

l            5+ years of software support experience in banking, technology  and consultancy gained from working with a bank's own in-house consultancy team, or from one of the leading software vendors/consultants in the core banking or treasury and capital market system

l            The candidate should possess a combination of technical and finance skills and a thorough understanding of the client's business and processes.

l            A good general knowledge of the following technologies:

-         Relational database management systems (i.e. Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, Informix)

-         Windows XP / 2000 / NT

-         Microsoft.NET, C++, J2EE, Java, RPG, Visual Basic, Access

-         Middleware technology and API

-         LAN/WAN infrastructure

l            Experience in managing multiple IT disciplines including systems architecture and technical    

support

l            Prior project planning, budgeting, and implementation experience

l            Superior analytical, problem solving and presentation skills (written & verbal)

l            Ability to maintain good working relationships with both technical and non-technical users, including the ability to communicate effectively with a large user base of differing levels of IT skills

l            Ability to quickly learn and comprehend ever-changing technology

l            Occasional travel within the China Region is required

l            Strong written and verbal English and Mandarin
