Job Description

Responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and coordinating public relations strategies.

Provide a consistent level of press office support acting as a contact point for managing all media activities

Scope of Responsibilities

Develop and implement the media relations program on a global scale consistent with the company’s brand and investor relations (IR) message themes

Manage PR budget

Manage relationships with trade media, industry analysts, potential customers, the public, and the press.

In conjunction with marketing, develop the strategy and content of communication plans, press announcements, press releases and events (event planning and execution).

Support Investors’ Relations Department and coordinate effectively on important investor relations activities such as writing press releases and website content.

Support the company at industry events and trade shows if needed.

Work with the management team to implement public relations and positioning programs.

Support press and industry analyst visits and tours in conjunction with IR.

Coordinate media events including press conferences and tours.

Work with marketing on company-wide initiatives

Secure speaking opportunities for company executives.

Candidate Qualifications

5-10+ years experience in public relation management, preferably for a multinational company

Is an independent and highly motivated individual who is eager to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be organized and able to multi-task, think strategically, and have a bias for action.

Possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal

Experience required in coordinating media events, including press conferences and tours.

Proven experience in preparing written press materials such as press releases, invitations, and presentations as well as dealing directly with external audiences such as journalists and industry analysts.

Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese; other languages would be an advantage
