
职位描述/要求:
General Responsibilities:
The main emphasis of the Remote Engineer profile is the in-depth technical capabilities especially in the troubleshooting and problem resolution. Ancillary to this is the capability to work with the end-user in conducting the service which requires patience and a teaching/coaching approach.
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of the role of a Help Desk/Call Center Agent
- Outstanding oral language skills in both English and Mandarin with exceptional phone communications capabilities
- At least 5 years experience in IT industry with direct experience as a Service Desk/Help Desk providing remote assistance
- Both PC & Server hardware and software installations & configurations knowledge (HP, IBM, Dell, etc.)
- A wide range of Microsoft Operating System experience in PC, Server and Network areas
- In depth Microsoft application software such as MS Exchange, MS Office (including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, Outlook, etc.) and or Lotus Notes Suite.
- In depth experience in other Microsoft Windows based user applications (AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, WinZIP, Win RAR, Norton AV/Securities, PC Anywhere, etc.)
- In depth experience in Microsoft based server installation and configurations (DHCP, AD, DNS, SMTP, RAS, etc.)
- Knowledge and practical experience in Server based antivirus systems (Symantec, MacAfee, Trend Micro)
- Knowledge and experience in UNIX (Linux, AIX, etc.)
- Knowledge and practical experience in Database Installation & administration (MS SQL)
- Network setup and configurations (Routers, L3 switches, Firewalls, Access Control equipment, QoS equipment, Proxy)
- Certifications in Network and Server Operating Systems.
- Experience in IT based Multipoint video conferencing equipment setup and configurations
- Bachelor’s Degree at recognized University or Polytechnic and or equivalent
Additional Knowledge Requirements
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- Cisco Certified Network Associate
- ITIL Foundation
