CNC Programming Engineer

 

Our client is a designer, manufacturer and solutions provider for the healthcare industry. It owns more than 35 patented products and it spans more than 12 years of innovation during which it has helped make a positive difference in the lives of patients and caregivers.
    
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop or support the development of CNC programs in collaboration with the Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing and Quality.
-Develop and maintain a change control system for all programs.
-In connection with other departments in China and Overseas, guarantee in-time and compliant start up of manufacturing in China, in order to support all business objectives.
-Participate in training or workshop employees.
-In collaboration with the maintenance team, develop and implement a Maintenance excellence program.
-Propose, develop or participate in programs to improve quality, cost, lead times, on time delivery, or any other program defined by the management.
-Use PE principles to improve processes and reduce non-value added waste and activities. (Including process FMEA, Gauge R&R, Predictive Indicator and use of statistical techniques).
-Support R&D on new products development.
-In partnership with the Quality department, participate to the development of the quality system and its day to day implementation:
-Responsible for creating and maintaining quality & manufacturing documentation for equipment and processes.

 

Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in technical or related area
-5 to 10 years CNC programming experience. 
-3 to 5 years advanced CAD/CAM modeling experience. 
-Able to read English and to interpret international standards as it pertains to blueprints.
-Strong technical skills
