Job Scope:
This position will be responsible for all trade sales activities and initiatives, with the objective to meet the trade sales targets.
1. Present and pitch trade solutions to existing and prospective clients.
2. Identify new leads through beneficiary marketing
3. Review clients’ transactions to ensure that the facilities granted are well utilized.
4. Prepare client calling plans to dimension the wallet size and opportunities.
5. Establish and maintain existing and prospective client relationships.
6. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
7. Respond to request for proposal and presentations.
8. Coordinate with internal resources to ensure client’s requirements are addressed or met to close a sales deal.
9. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
10. Review product and pricing conditions to ensure overall profitability for the business
11. Organise trade seminars and events for clients
12. Keep abreast of competitor banks’ trade offerings and provide updates to the business head.
13. Any other ad-hoc activities as assigned by your manager.
Requirements:
• 5 - 8 years of experience in trade operations and/or trade sales experience
• Good understanding of the local regulations in China
• Dedicated, self driven and highly motivated
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with good spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak the local dialects will be an advantage
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Strong business acumen and be able to deliver targets
• Good team player with the ability to establish strong rapport with clients
