Title:           Controller, Finance Planning

Reporting line:   Line manager in US

Location:        Shanghai

Major Responsibilities

 - Organize and supervise Controllers Handbook training 2x each year.

 - Revise Controller’s Handbook training to include 1 company case study as well as other suggested improvements

 - Organize and supervise 3 to 4 regional training sessions in Asia (China, Taiwan and Japan)

 - Develop training material and facilitate classes as needed

 - Coordinate training sessions with outside consultants as necessary

 - Other functions and projects as assigned in support of training

Major Requirements

 - Bachelor Degree with major in accounting/finance or related fields.

 - CPA a plus

 - 3 - 4 years experience in one of the Big4 CPA firms or consulting firms.

 - Progressive industry experience in manufacturing in multinational company.

 - Solid knowledge base in financial accounting and plant cost accounting

 - Good humored and enthusiastic about training topics

 - Excellent presentation skills and communication skills, ability to work and communicate with individuals at all levels to accomplish objectives

 - Good language skills in both English and Mandarin, Japanese a plus

 - Wants to share knowledge and is able to take feedback and act on it constructively

 - Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized

 - Must be able to lead training projects

 - Confident in front of an audience

 - Can explain information to individuals from a variety of education levels  

 - Can bring examples and experience to the sessions

 - Adept in use of PowerPoint
