Job Summary
--The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of a software development project. He or she will be required to mentor new Developers on J2EE technologies and development best practices.  The Technical Lead works with all Developers to ensure the optimum technical solution is utilized in the development of new and existing applications.  He or she also reviews and contributes to design, deliverables, enforces coding and design standards, and provides technical support for the team. This individual should have extensive J2EE, Web, Web services, and Java experience, as well as a working knowledge of UNIX (Linux) and Windows operating systems.    
--This individual will coordinate and communicate with USA and Aaxis China Project Managers and Technical Architects.   He or she must also be able to build and manage these relationships to establish a high level of confidence and trust in their leadership and decisions.  This person must be a self-starter and require minimal supervision.  He or she must be able to lead multiple efforts at the same time and balance competing priorities.

 

Requirements
--Four-year degree in a technical area or equivalent experience
--Minimum of 5-year experience in J2EE with an overall 6 years of industry experience
--Minimum of 4-year experience in designing and developing multi-tier software applications
--Good English communication skills: written and verbal. 
--Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).  This includes good understanding the Unified Modeling Language (UML)
--Exposure to development methodologies: Rational Unified Process and Xtreme Programming
--Mastery of J2EE technologies: EJB, JSP, Servlet, JNDI, JMS, JAXP and JDBC
--Mastery of Web Technologies: JavaScript, JAXP, CSS and HTML
--In-depth experience in utilizing open source toolkits: Struts, Hibernate, Log4J, Axis Web Services, Xerces, Xalan, Ant and Spring
--Experience with one of the following application servers: JBoss, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere
--Working knowledge of UNIX(Linux) and Windows operating systems
--Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
--Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
--Experience with full lifecycle of software development projects from establishing requirements through delivery and production
--Experience in building scalable, mission-critical applications
--Experience in leading software development teams
