Basic Function:
Teach English as a second language to engineers working at our China Technology Center. Assess engineers’ level of English and tailor a learning program to help each person reach proficient English level for both speaking and writing.

 

Job Responsibilities:
Develop an assessment and learning program to help engineers at MicroStrategy's China Technology Center reach English proficiency.
Periodically evaluate and report engineer's progress.
Encourage engineers to write and speak in English with a variety of activities but with a focus to the type of engineering work they do at MicroStrategy.
Create a positive and friendly atmosphere conducive to learning English.

 

Skills and Qualifications:
Dynamic and self motivated individual.
Must have English proficiency up to native level.
Experience teaching English language to college students or professionals 2 years minimum.
Recognized teaching English as a foreign language certification is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or higher. Preferably in English or Education.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Any certification(s) from ETS (TSE, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc.) is a plus.
Well organized with effective time management skills. Ability to work independently.
Attention to detail.
