IT Manager-Great China
A leading consulting firm This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth service delivery of the IT function across great china locations ( Details are as below: 1、 Technical Support: Ø Lead the team to provide IT services to all users in their respective locations. Consult with users, management, vendors and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements that enhance ability to better serve clients. Ø Evaluate the Firm’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades that enhance productivity. Ø Design service delivery mechanisms to ensure prompt and professional troubleshooting. Ø Manage, maintain and enhance GC Office infrastructure including all servers, voice/data telecommunications services & equipment and network operating systems. Ø Develop and articulate appropriate IT service lines. Ø Ensure compliance with Firm-wide IT standards and security policies. 2、Personnel & Administrative: Ø Manage staffing and recruit new team members as required. Ø Coach and lead IT team members across four GCO locations; conduct annual performance reviews, organize training and help team members to develop professionally. Ø Direct daily operational processes, analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop/maintain standards and set deadlines. Ø Develop and control operational budget and expenditures, and monitor these against Firm guidelines. Ø Develop, maintain and manage supplier and vendor relationships required to serve the offices. 3、Project Management: Ø Develop proposals as necessary for upgrading existing systems and developing new systems, and follow through the development and implementation as required Ø Roll out the Firm-wide IT projects in GCO Ø Ensure consistent documentation of all software development and technical projects. Ø Oversee maintenance of software licenses, asset/inventory management. Requirements: 1、College or equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or engineering from a reputable institution. 2、8-10 years of relevant IT experience with more than 5 years in a managerial/leadership position. 3、Proficient technical knowledge and experience in the areas of: workstations (Windows 2000/Office 2000), network operating systems (Novell Netware), communications technologies, and Lotus Notes and Internet infrastructure support. 4、Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese. 5、Very strong written and verbal communication including the ability to make presentations to senior managers and Firm leaders. 6、Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and tolerance for ambiguity. 7、Strong team leadership and change management ability coupled with strong people skills. 8、Exhibit critical thinking, i.e. use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems. 9、Demonstrate high service orientation, i.e., ability to provide exceptional service to internal customers. 10、 The manager will be required to travel when necessary to offices under his/her supervision (approximately 50%). 联系方式:
