Responsibility
-Successfully manage the Project Axle programs to 90 days post start of production (SOP) using the customer’s planning and program management techniques in conjunction with the Program Management APQP-based process.
-Assemble core program team and complete Program Planning Process to ensure development of a complete program plan and work breakdown structure, including the financial Pro Forma. -Meet all design, quality, production, financial, and milestone timing needs of the Program. -Develop and maintain project timing charts. -Plan, lead & conduct timely team meetings and program status reviews. Communicate or present project status as needed through reports and program management reviews at all levels. -Identify and resolve project issues, using root cause analysis and provide a robust process for change management. Ensure a change control and corrective action process is in place that aligns with the customer’s systems. -Publish a “Lessons Learned” document at conclusion of program. (i.e. 90 days post SOP.) -Maintain the project schedule as agreed between the customer and the company. -Liaison with customer regarding program issues, including participation in customer meetings. -Monitor project concept, budget & schedule for compliance with customer specifications. -Provide oversight and guidance for customer communication channels for significant program information & data. -Plan and identify required staffing needs to the appropriate function in a timely manner. ---Coordinate the activities of all cross-functional team members. Mediate and resolve project team conflicts, while maintaining team structure and supporting the authority of each team member. -Plan, chose, & manage (to 90 days post SOP) the establishment of production lines. Transfer new production lines to local plant management and collaborate with production personnel to maximize utilization of resources. -Ensure successful design, capability, installation and prove-out of production equipment and tools. -Ensure procurement of capital equipment for program & ensure compliance with all required codes. -Manage and control the planning and implementation of SOP Plans for all functional disciplines. -Establish targets for price, warranty and delivery issues with critical outside suppliers and support Purchasing or Quality in negotiations with suppliers as appropriate. -Optimize project cash flow through timely coordination of all purchase order releases. -Ensure supplier quality and technical (SQA & STA) systems are in place using documented processes. -Plan and manage all budgets and costs associated with the Program, and adhere to the Program Pro Forma. -Develop and implement control procedures to manage capital, tooling, start-up, engineering, and project expenses. QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor's degree in Engineering -A minimum of three to five years experience in manufacturing or related product/process. -Project management experience preferred. -Ability to successfully function in a matrix style of management, managing a variety of cross-functional team members. -Excellent team leadership skills. -Capable of handling multiple priorities and tasks. -Understanding of production processes and manufacturing flow/ Experience reading design prints is a plus. -Proficiency in written and oral communications; PC software; and presentation skills. -Excellent participation and listening skills with a strong dedication and commitment to quality customer service and satisfaction. -Good interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside the company in a professional manner. -An understanding of financial analysis concepts and budget management. -Good problem solving skills, including ability to identify and resolve issues and challenges. -Ability to choose course of action and make mid-course changes. -Good presentation skills; -Must be willing to travel and work non-normal business hours (mostly telephone conferences to the U.S. and Europe. -Must speak be able to speak and read English (technical language also), spoken Italian a plus. 联系方式:
