Qualification / Experience / Skill requirements

                     :

• Bachelor degree with Mechanical/Electrical/Industry/Material engineering.
• At least 5 years working experience in manufacturing and inspection environment in specified area.
• Minimum Level –II in UT /MPT techniques either from ASNT or equivalent- Only for Fabrication, Casting and Forging.
• Supplier audit skill and good knowledge in Quality / Safety / Environment systems.
• Knowledge in FMEA and 8D is desirable.
• Be familiar with Microsoft Software.
• Multi-tasking ability.
• Good command in written and speaking in Mandarin and English.
• Ability to work under pressure and travel frequently.

Main Responsibilities:

• Visit suppliers and carry out product specific assessment on their production process and QSE management system after sample order placed.
• Support suppliers to improve manufacturing process and complete First article inspection as per Vestas requirements.
• Approve first article / sample product and prepare report.
• Train supplier on quality models like 5S, Kaizen, six sigma concepts, 8D, FMEA etc.
• Carry out regular audit / inspection on product, process and system to ensure consistency in product quality.
• Carry out sample inspection on series production and register non conformities.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure the continuous improvement to avoid repeatability of non conformities.
• Carry out Quality, Safety and Environment management systems on fixed interval and suggest improvements with reporting.
• Assure compliance with Vestas Values and Policies
• To coordinate activities with other team members.
• Support Strategic Purchases in securing the parts supply as per business requirements.
