ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical & troubleshooting support to GE product suppliers in China and globally
  
• Perform Supplier audit and assessments, testing equipment inspections as required
  
• Provide technical & troubleshooting support to GE commissioners, field engineers, production engineers
  
• Provide training for GE Control COE Power Electronics Products
  
• Devise quality measurements, data gathering & analysis on GE system controls & components.
  
• Report quality findings, trends, and recommendations
  
• Team with product designers to define product testing, product validation and publish documentation

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability and willingness to routinely travel within China and globally
  
• Good interpersonal skills and global mindset
  
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (Written & Verbal)
  
• 4 year engineering/technical degree and/or related field experience
  
• previous experience with power conversion, PLCs, SCADA, drives, and/or generators
  
• PC proficient, Windows
  
• Familiarization with Ethernet network setup & devices
  
• Ability to work with minimal direction, resourceful
  
• self starter
  
• adaptable to easily work with people of varying global environments and disciplines: field , manufacturing, engineering,
  
• mind for safety, working with medium voltage equipment
  
• strong customer focus & quality mindset

DESIRED:

• 2-5 years field experience electrical troubleshooting
  
• green belt certified
  
• Experience with Mark Vie platform hardware or software
