FUNCTIONAL WORK AREA : Engineering/ Product Development

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and commercialize short term NPIs in close cooperation with the Field Marketing and Manufacturing Teams globally. Work with manufacturing in scaling up new products, coordinate the translation of products and processes to other poles, understand existing product capability and develop products to meet customer needs;
  
• Develop innovative platform based product concepts, providing a pipeline for the near future across poles based on unique IP protected materials;
  
• Support the business on Productivity and Quality Targets;
  
• Strong and rigorous communication within the global technology group -based in MtV, BoZ, Shanghai, Moka, Exton, Columbus(US) and WTC - as well as with the global Product Management organization. "

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Ph.D. Polymer/Material Science or equivalent education;
  
• Creative with passion for Technology;
  
• Committed, responsible, able to work in a team and willing to work under pressure;
  
• good communication skills, highly motivated, self-starter;
  
• Demonstrated capability to work and deliver on multiple programs;
  
• Excellent analytical skills;
  
• Need to have good written and spoken skills in English and Mandarin to interact with local and global team members;
  
• Experience with Design of Experiments concept (Robust Design);
  
• DFSS/DMAIC project management skills. "

DESIRED:

• At least three years of experience in product development of thermoplastics, chemical engineering, material science etc;
