ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interface/communicate between Customer/Architect Engineer and steam turbine system design teams to address technical design questions on daily basis;
  
• Read technical contract and translate into design input; clarify contract requirements;
  
• Lead contract and design review, communicate contract requirements to design team and ensure engineering deliverable meet contract requirements;
  
• Coordinate design activities among steam turbine hardware, accessory, electrical and control teams;
  
• Schedule and monitor customer drawings and other customer software deliverables;
  
• Respond to customer questions/changes; communicate design and manufacturing changes;
  
• Work closely with project manager team for the quality implementation of project,
  
• Provide problem resolution support, root cause analysis and correction to internal and external customers;

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
  
• 5+ years experience in thermal power generation industry, steam turbine is preferred;
  
• Solid knowledge of steam turbine, accessory, control system;
  
• Fluent in oral and written English; good computer skills
  
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional and global teams;
  
• Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints/specifications;
  
• Passion for performance excellence, commitment to integrity;
  
• Demonstrate leadership and organizing skills,
  
• Self starter and quick learner;
