职位描述/要求:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical assistance through on-site guidance & training in the proper operation, maintenance, & troubleshooting of commercial engines & ground support equipment, including the use & proper interpretation of data & technical instruction.
  • Provide communication to Product Support & Field Service regarding all engine involved activities/problems through regular, timely, & accurate reports. Reporting also includes significant marketing intelligence & sales opportunities for both engine & support.
  • Assist the customer in scheduling maintenance & workload.
  • Assure that equipment & parts are available to meet schedules.
  • Review reported engine malfunctions & analyze any undesirable trends. Make recommendations on findings.
  • Review effectiveness of maintenance actions in order to ID training needs. Maintain awareness of program & project changes.
  • Provide customer insight & training as necessary for future support of the product lines. Use of six sigma tools to influence GE internal and customer data driven decision making.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
BS in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.. Both written and verbal communication skills. The ability to establish productive working relatioinships with all levels of GE and customer organizations. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence customer and GE peers.

DESIRED:
Significant field and customer support experience on all phases of aircraft or marine and industrial gas turbine operation and maintenance. Demonstrated proficiency in engine system troubleshooting.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provide leadership, technical direction, & assistance to the customer, user, & other GE field personnel in the operation, inspection, maintenance, & repair of assigned product lines. Interface w/ all levels of customer & Company organizations. Provide on-site assessment of activities to anticipate problems, trends, & customer climate change. Provide complete reporting of the engine programs, customer problems, failures, trends and & climate.
