职位描述/要求:

Description

 

I.   Purpose of the Job

To manage the growth of Fixed Industrial product sales into Mainland China.

II.   Principal Responsibilities

1.       Business Growth of HA Fixed products into Chinese General Industrial applications

2.       Manage and grow the national Industrial Fixed distributor network of China

3.       Establish & maintain contact with key end users & influencers of Industrial Fixed gas detection in China

4.       Work with HA Regional Service and distributors to build a strong service product support structure

·          Major Fixed Industrial Customers – China.

·          Suppliers of complimentary products to industry

·          Approvals authorities

IV.   Supervisory Responsibilities – None (3rd party distribution only)

V.   Budgetary Responsibilities – None (Quarterly Sales Target only)

 

I.   Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

Mainland China

Travel outside Shanghai to Provinces (two to three weeks per month)

II.   Key Performance Measures

·          Achievement of sales targets

·          Number of agents / distributors

·          Quantity of New customer accounts won via distribution

·          Timely payment of accounts by customers and distributors

 

Qualifications

 

I.      Education Required (academic and/or technical education)

·          Minimum, Diploma in Sales & Marketing / Business development

·          Qualification in English Language

·          Computer Literacy, experience with MS Office

II.      Work Experience Required (area and length of experience)

·          Distributor Management in China Industrial markets – minimum 3 years

·          Knowledge of Gas Detection preferred

·          Some working experience in selling foreign products to China customers preferred

·          Recruitment of third party sales/service distributors in China

·          Experience of working in a team

·          Experience of Driving a team

III.      Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position)

·          Understanding basics of electrical/electronic principals

·          Computer literate,

·          Some basic knowledge / background in Chemistry is preferable

·          Awareness of equipment use in hazardous areas

IV.      Behavioural Competencies Required (e.g. organisational skills, ability to lead a team, etc.)

·          Ability to self manage and organise a widely variable workload

·          Excellent communications skills

·          Hold a reputable and respected position in the working environment

·          To possess a desire to “delight the customer”

·          Have the initiative to make contact with internal and external network links, when required

·          Diplomacy in customer relations

·          Understanding how to succeed in doing business in China and work within Code of Conduct

V.      Language Requirements (written and spoken skills)

·          Fluent English (speaking and written) essential

·          Fluent Mandarin (speaking & written) essential
