In this key role, the Shanghai Site IT Leader is responsible for providing the following IT services at the Shanghai & Qingpu sites:
· Managing the Site IT budget including the following:
o Maintaining and communicating site level IT financial status to the plant leadership team on a monthly basis
o Managing site-level IT pass-thru spend through management of PDA charges, desktop and server charges
o Managing site level invoices and IT charges
o Supporting development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
· Acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all IT related projects and services at the site including the following:
o Maintaining and communicating consolidated SBG, SBE, and Site IT project status to the plant leadership team on a regular basis
o Troubleshooting and supporting application/operation issue relating to SAP and site application software
o Supporting the annual IT strategic planning activities for the site (STRAP)
o Providing oversight for all ISR input, tracking and reporting
o Providing business justification and prioritization input into the IT portfolio management process
o Ensuring program management disciplines and reporting are taking place for all projects occurring at the site
o Ensuring Six Sigma/DFSS tools are being utilized for all projects occurring at the site.
o Supporting IT security assessments and ensuring that security controls & standards are followed
o Ensuring all procedures are documented and available to users
o Providing oversight for life-cycle management of all IT assets at the site for desktop, laptops, printers, servers, and network assets
o Providing IT support for functional initiatives such as HOS, EBI, and Maintenance Excellence.
· Representing IT at site leadership meetings
· Supporting SM IT effectiveness through Customer Satisfaction initiatives and representing the “Voice of the Customer” for the site
· Providing inputs to the IT infrastructure optimization initiatives of application rationalization, server consolidation and Data Center Rationalization (DCR)
· Acting as the IT liaison to all site customers ensuring effective communications and productive working relationships across key stakeholders. This includes helping customers with IT processes for service or issues.
· Providing site level input for Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, and Disaster Recovery
· Acting as escalation point for IT related escalations, critical, and/or chronic situations.
· Developing new and innovative methods of using Information Technologies to meet current and future business needs
· Providing support to annual Plant or IT inventory processes
· Support other SBE projects & applications as needed
