A. Role Summary (职位概述)
This position is responsible for assisting the China Global Sourcing Team in managing daily operations working collaboratively with sourcing, vendor management, logistics, supply chain, testing and QA/QC. This team member will focus on operational solutions and support of the business strategy. Administration responsibilities include implementing and execution existing business processes, staff training, organization development, coaching and developing individual team member/Manager, implementation and execution of new business processes.
B. Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) 主要工作职责
1)Support Director in focusing on the day to day operational goals of the global sourcing function in Asia. Responsible for reviewing existing business process and integration of supply chain, logistics, operations, testing, QA/QC, sourcing to increase efficiency
2)Responsible for implementation of the new SOP’s and leading implementation of new tools and resources (example UGS Tool). Play a key leadership role in supporting adoption of process by team
This will be new ground for a number of cross functional partners and the relationship building and level of influence is critical to the development of the strategy.
3)Take a supporting role in driving the annual budget process and provide insight and analysis that can be used to shape the budget numbers across multiple geographies internal and external to BBY Channels.
4)Seek to understand Best Buy Global Enterprise Footprint plan and accountable managing within the business unit and developing a career path and support functions within the Global Functional Team in Asia.
5)Participates in special projects, task groups, and system integration and related assignments. – Example office move and future planning
C. Requirements (招聘要求)
10 to 15 years of experience in business related field.
Multi- National / International Company with a background in manufacturing / operation/ sourcing with related experience in international trade, shipping practices, familiar with Customs Regulations and procedures.
Previous experience in product development
Supervisory responsibilities of business or function head.
Established leadership skills, strategic thinking, initiative and result oriented
Language – Fluent in English and Mandarin
Positive working attitude and comfortable in ambiguous development roles
Team player with servant leadership role model attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable in supporting role
