Job Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:
- Cost reduction activities
- Benchmarking key commodity indexes and forecasting impact to the NPI costs
- Supplier identification (sourcing) and development
- Supplier performance management
- Supplier capabilities evaluations (process, equipment, facilities, tolling, personnel)
- Development, acquisition, and analysis of supplier price quotes
- Supplier selection and contract development
- Conduct price, quality and delivery negotiations for major company purchases
- Process, issue, and manage RFP, RFQ, PR, and PO’s
- Order tracking and expediting in support of product launches
- Supplier performance management (cost, quality, delivery, and service)~ preparing/authorizing documentation for A/P
- Resolving Supplier payment issues
- Management of customer and supplier relations
- Supply base database/file maintenance and management
- Reconcile data, generating reports, and ensure streamlined automation
- Assure the proper transfer of product from development to manufacturing
- Support initial product builds through qualification
- Capacity management and supply line assurance
- Supplier financial analysis
- Supplier survey facilitation and participation
- Assure supplier payment terms correlate to customer payment terms
- Cost estimation, cost avoidance, RFQ and cost analysis report
- Work as integral member of customer centric multidisciplinary team (PDM, PM, Client Org. and Mfg.)
- Identify critical/unique parts, technology, and processes
- Translating customer needs mapping (CNM) into Supplier capability requirements
- Assure product target cost is attained to meet customer demand. Be responsible for the “Dynamic BOM” keep a running record of cost/feature changes and report monthly 联系方式:
