- Implements marketing plans in a territory through personal selling to achieve a budgeted order volume.
- Promotes the Company and its products.
- Establishes opportunities for profitable business growth and reports on business and competitive activities in the market place.
- Lead account coordinators to manage customer expectations and to deliver customer satisfaction through expediting orders, quotations, samples etc.

Position Specifications:
- Bachelor"s Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent education/work experience plus 4-6 years direct sales experience in a related field.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy, under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
- Must have a working knowledge of personal computers.
- Understand commercial terms.
- Must possess strong diplomacy, administrative, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
- A professional appearance is required.
- Self-motivated, an ability to work with minimum supervision.

Functional Scope:
- Responsible for developing identified accounts.
- Responsible for sales volume of approximately $5 million.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop personal relationships and rapport with key buying and design influences at major customers.
- Lead account coordinators to manage customer expectations and to deliver customer satisfaction through expediting orders, quotations, samples etc.
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate accounts and increase order volume.
- Drive the customer service team to achieve the sales forecast and order booking.
- Assist on the global management of specific key accounts by collecting competitive data and reports, providing market information to Marketing. Interface frequently with Global KAM to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Implement marketing plans through personal selling.
- Promote Amphenol products and assists customers in selecting the correct parts to fit the application.
- Represent the Company in the market place and develop positive customer attitudes towards the Company.
- Negotiate corporate contracts on behalf of the Company.
- Understand, develop and follow applicable Company practices, policies and procedures.

Physical Demands:
- Extended periods at computer.
- Lifting or transporting light to heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to tolerate fumes, odors and noise.
- Ability to manage stress, to remain calm and in control, even when under pressure.

- Frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.
