Responsibility:

• Support QA in RMA flow to handle IC failure analysis in either FA lab or other FA houses.
• Use outside resources to setup IC failure analysis process to isolate the failures, and further more to locate the possible root causes, through electrical, optical, thermal, chemical or physical etc. methods. Come out FA report.
• Deal with subcontractors to reduce failure analysis cycle time and expense. Optimize FA procedures to reduce nonresult FA cases rate.
• Setup database for wafer fabrication inline check, WAT, yield data, etc. based on the data extracted from wafer foundry.
• Establish the correlated relationship among WAT, CP and FT for company products. Maintain the database and develop small tools for data crunching and processing.

Qualification :

• Minimum 3 years working experience in IC failure analysis of wafer fab or FA lab.
• BSEE in microelectronics or material science, MSEE is a plus.
• Knowledge on wafer fabrication and statistics is also necessary. Familiar with various IC failure modes.
• Hands on experience on various IC production process data management.
• Microsoft Excel macro, or Perl, or VB programming is a plus, too.
