Position: Aero System Director Location: Reports to: GM, HTS Specific Responsibilities
u Craft & implement a coherent external oriented engineering strategy for the company Aerospace Asia/Pacific business to capture the high growth opportunities provided by the dynamic AP market with the help of HTSC Aero Engineering Director. Closely partner with HTSC Aero Engineering Director/Team for implementation. u Help HTSC Aero Engineering Director in developing core competency roadmap for HTSC Aero teams based on both regional and global needs. u Lead Aero’s effort in identify and explore new strategic market and translation of market needs and new technology into system engineering specifications for regional opportunities by working closely with Aero regional business organization and AP OEM partners. u Develop a robust pipeline of projects to meet Honeywell’s aggressive business growth target in the region. u Establish and manage cooperation with local entities including OEM customers and sourcing suppliers. u Develop a staffing plan and build HTSC Aero system engineering and supply chain management teams. Build a strong innovation culture. Manage staff career development and maintain a stable team. Reporting RelationshipThe Aero System Director will report to the GM of HTSC. He/she will be a member of the HTSC Leadership team. This position will also have a dot-line reporting into Aero AP president and is a member of his/her leadership team. Educational & Other Requirementsu B.S in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred u Fluent in Chinese and familiar with Chinese culture and business u >5 years experience in managing technical projects and staff u >5 years experience in working with sales/marketing, manufacturing and other business functions to identify strategic goals and implementation plans u Strong experience and background in Aero industry Key Success Factors/Profile:u Strong and well-rounded business partner whose areas of functional strength are strategic engineering leadership and management. u Strong and decisive - can quickly earn the respect at all levels of management by his/her qualifications, solid knowledge and expertise u Able to effect change through results, leadership and influence u Bias for action u Growth and customer focus u Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 联系方式:
