Description:

As a member of Oracle Mozilla Thunderbird and Oracle Mozilla Extension QA team, you will contribute to the

1. Design and develop test plans based upon functional and design specifications, and existing Mozilla Mail features.

2. Analyze and report test results to product team, and work with software developer, development manager and QA manager to resolve bugs.

3. Participate in product enhancement functional review, test specifications, document and code review.

4. Contribute to the product installation and upgrade testing activities.

5. Address Customer specific issues.

Relevant experience and training:

1. Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or related field.

2. Experience in QA, strong understanding of QA processes and practices, or enjoying trying out many different softwares.

3. Familiar with Mozilla and Mozilla related technologies.

4. Enjoying using and supporting Open Source Software.

5. Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

Competencies:

1. Oracle Collaboration Suite or Oracle Application Server Experience.

2. Automation experience using WinRunner or Silk.

3. Knowledge of LDAP, IMAP, SMTP, POP.

4. Excellent Java or C programming skills.

5. Excellent JavaScript, UNIX shell or Perl script programming.
