SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in software development cycle
2. Contribute to the creation of design specificaiton base on functional specification
3. Develop and implement software according to the design specification
4. Participate in product enhancement and maintenance
5. Participate in functional reviews, test specifications, documentation and code review.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
1. Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
2. Excellent Java and/or C/C++ programming skills
3. At least 3 years of the software development experience, with 2+ years in Java/Oracle related work
4. Familiar and have actual experience with design patten and J2EE design framework
5. Strong understanding of software development process
6. Self motivated and dedicated
7. Fast learner
8. Excellent analytical skills
9. Good English written and oral communication skills
10. Ability to read and write in Japanese is a plus
11. Undergraduates will not be considered for these openings
DESIRED SKILLS:
1. Familiar with application development using Oracle database, SQL, PL/SQL
2. Knowledge of GIS, Spatial, Location Based Services theory and technologies
3. Knowledge of IO device driver development using C and/or Java
4. Knowledge of mobile device programing, e.g. Palm, Windows Mobile, Symbian |
