Applications Product Group (APG) Beijing

The Applications Product Group is a dynamic growing team in China Development Center responsible for Oracle Applications products development ; Applications solution development and implementation. Also to carry out Oracle Applications functional testing in multibyte language environment (Chinese and Japanese).

KEY OBJECTIVE

To work as a product expert for assigned Oracle Applications modules.
To be involved in assigned and potential testing projects.
To work as a member of QA team to ensure the high quality of Oracle Applications product.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
(Outline specific tasks/responsibilities of the role)

· To be the expert for the Applications products being worked on.
· To run product testing process following Oracle global testing methodology.
· To run testing for EBS globalization/localizations following Oracle development standards.
· Prepare/execute test scripts. Execute tests manually or via automated testing tools (WinRunner).
· To work with NLS team and Global development team to track and fix the bugs. Ensure all serious bugs are addressed properly before release to the Market. Communicate effectively with development team , WPTG, on various aspects of the project.
· Keep on improving testing efficiency.

Qualification
(Indicate the essential experience, qualifications and attributes required to perform this position effectively)

· BS or MS in Computer, Business, Industry Engineering or any business related professions.
· Functional expertise in any the following areas: Financials, HRMS, CRM, Supply Chain and Project Management etc.
· Knowledge on testing methodology and strong analytical, process improvement, and troubleshooting skills. Detail oriented.
· Knowledge on Oracle database, PL/SQL is a plus.
· Excellent communication skill. Fluent English in written and oral
· Quick learner for new technologies.
· Knowledge on PeopleSoft/Siebel product is a plus
· Project leadership is a plus
